About the program

All Little Panda students are welcome to experience the joy of music through violin lessons with Mr. Tyler.  Through engaging musical activities, students will learn focus, coordination, dedication, and fine motor skills at an early age. Note reading and solfege (Do, Re, Mi) singing will also be covered.

Violin lessons at Little Panda take place twice each week and are 20 minutes in duration. Students are taught basics about the violin through singing, movement, and games. Receiving two lessons per week allow students to retain information and progress at a steady pace.

Students are provided for use at Little Panda for the first year of study. After that time information will be provided about renting an instrument. Parents will be updated about their child's progress throughout the year and recitals will be planned during the school year.

Rate

Mr. Tyler's monthly rate is $170. Venmo is the preferred method of payment, though cash or check can be placed in an envelope and in the mail box outside Cindy's office at Little Panda. Tuition includes two lessons per week and a violin kept at Little Panda for the first year. Payments are due at the beginning of each month.

Policies

Per request, Mr. Tyler is able to offer make up lessons when students are absent. Due to scheduling limitations, students will only be eligible for 1 make up lesson per month. All other absences can be credited toward future lessons.
